Kitson Thompson & Hewitson, Leeds 2-2-2T, underslung water tank, two cylinders 12" X 22" Stephenson valve gear, originally fitted with boiler feed pumps but replaced by injectors. Salter safety valves, 5' 6" gauge, Maker's No 481. Reputedly the oldest surviving locomotive in perfect working order. 1855
